Mac mini m4 vs Win PC

Hey Folks, I am considering buying a Mac mini base variant, it seems to fulfill my needs. It's costing me around 45K after discounts.

Now I generally prefer windows or be comfortable with it. Do you have any mini or small form factor PC in knowledge that delivers similar performance, I can go upto 55K.

There's only one in India - lenovo thinkcenter , zen 4 series is good value

Thanks, it seems Core Ultra 5 -235 and Ryzen 7 8700G are close to M4's performance. They both cost around 70K with windows Home.

No doubt it can be a solid pc if someone plans to scale it up, which is the biggest drawback with Mac products.

Heavy browsing and Lightroom. I may do some video editing, nothing complex just basic ones.

Thinking about learning AI stuff, definitely will be tried upon.

I guess the minimum ram on the base model is 16gb I think that along with m4 which is 2x more performant m1 will work well for you. You can do light inference related AI work with 3b 8b models as well.
For for mac, if you want to any creative and coding domain it’s the best machine to have. I have an m4 pro, earlier had an Intel Mac. It’s an easy learning curve. Been working on macs since 10 years
