Lying on resume
Do you lie in your resume?
As an interviewer, I have rejected good performing candidates because of the obvious lies. Because people without integrity are liabilities irrespective of their skill levels.
No point in overpromising and under delivering. Best to be as advertised, helps with setting expectations
I have two CVs. One with my present skills that I send to companies, another with extra skills I keep as a reference for upskilling.
In my early days while I was just a beginner in Kotlin, I wrote it as a skill in my resume and applied for an internship. The interviewer hammered me like crazy......what if I had lied instead? I would have not even been able to answer the little that I did.
No, because I know that somehow somewhere someone will find it out
