LWP in tcs|| Personal reason
Let me tell you my background. I comes from a middle class background. I always wanted to opt for govt job. I know for someone it can be funny but i’m very passionate about upsc. I always wanted to be an IAS ( if not at least i wanted to give my 100% to the exam. I thought b.tech would be safer option to choose as a career security if not upsc/govt job. I was/am (can’t say) good in studies so despite being not interested even 1% in btech or IT, I managed to be an above average student in college though my DSA was pathetic. I was not even a bit interested in taking placement but I tried just to satisfy my ego and I got digital (7 lpa) offer from tcs and I joined thinking just to have 1 year experience then upsc. But now I realised that i have financial independence and its very difficult to leave this job. I’m working so hard in the project but its not something that if outside in the market i go with I can easily get another job that too if i have gap in experience. I am thinking 2 options-
- Talk to HR regarding this and let them convince if they can provide me LWP for personal reason.
- Go for MBA (taking LWP), and during college give my everything to upsc because mostly mba colleges from 2nd year focuses on placement not attendance. Its not about financial independence but to have a back during preparation for that giant exam. Please suggest guys!!

They will not give you lwp for taking time to study. Make fake medical and take long leave with LWP or resign from company. To go for MBA also you need to prepare to give CAT and pay heavy MBA fees. Don't waste time and money on MBA, save some money and work hard and focus on your dream.

Thanks for your suggestion and time!!

If you have financial independence then you can easily leave job, what's the problem?
The point that you mentioned with tcs work you can't get outside offers, is true with most people including me, oh.
Answering to your question - take lwp saying you need break and that will work. Else go with option 2

Sir, I said I have financial independence due to this job.
