LWD Query in tcs

Can I submit my laptop and id , one day before LWD to get clearance so that on last day I can ensure all clearance are getting done. Does it will be allowed.

If you give laptop and id card before LWD, so do u need to visit the office on LWD?

Not sure mostly will not visit as I can take clearance from mail or contacting separation HR

HR themselves suggests to submit one day prior to last working day
