Trending @Cognizant; LWD and offer letter conflict
I got an offer letter from a WITCH company fore lead engineer role, their offer letter date has X date.
But my LWD from Cognizant is X + 30 days.
How can I manage this? I really really don't want to lose the offer. My manager said she will tell me how to manage it.
I have 40 leaves including SL, EL and CL.
I know communication with HR is the key but how do I express this? Please help🙏🏻
I was in a similar condition. I had to leave from Cognizant in 30-45 days but NP is 90 days. However, my project was ending in 30 days. So I asked my manager for a release and then also reached out to my program manager if they could help me with this and that I had already submitted resignation from Cognizant and I need the offer letter from them which the company will not give until I provide them with evidence that my LWD would be manageable to within next 30 days. My manager and program manager were supportive they helped me with this and I got a release within 45 days from organization. You can also try similar way but you will have to keep following them on a regular basis.
