Luxury watch - need help

I am tempted to buy an entry model luxury watch. More specifically automatic with a budget of 1-5lacs. But I also know it’s waste of money in some sense abd it would be a sentimental buy. I don’t own / like apple / smart watches. Already have a Tissot with Chrono , Fossil, Casio digital watches . Any recommendations and feedback if you were in the same spot? And if you own one - is it worth it you would rather put in stocks? Any specific recommendations except for Rolex Oyster Pepertual or Omega Seamaster, etc Is it cheaper to buy from outside India?
