LTIMindtree BGV Query – YES or NO for Past Settled Case?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the pre-offer/background verification form at LTIMindtree.

There is a question: “Have you ever been involved in any criminal proceedings / convicted of any offence?”

If someone had a past payment-related legal matter which is now fully settled and disposed, with no pending cases or liabilities, what is the correct and safer option to select — YES or NO?

Also, does selecting YES in such cases have any impact on offer rollout or background verification outcome?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has faced a similar situation or is familiar with the process.
