It has been observed that a lowball syndrome is spreading across the talent teams in the Big 4s. It seems contagious, with recruiters behaving like lala companies - giving job switch offers with hikes of around ~10%. The cure or medicine is yet to be discoveredโฆ Comment if you know the cure ๐๐

Negotiation is power politics. When they know the employee is eager to join, they will low ball. No body low balls the person who is willing to walk away. Thats the reason people when they resign, the immediate offer for retaining starts at 15% ... even in the most ridiculous lala companies.
