Looks Like firing stopped now?

Its still ongoing in my unit 2 people got laid off today one 15 yrs and second 8 years experience

It will start again..they are planning to reduce total employee count to below 500k..

Tcs is now doing damage control by releasing. Flyers of severance pay and layoff stuff as the quarterly result is on 8th Oct

but tcs shares has gone down badly which is again a threat to employees

My manager told me in July that he had given my name for something... They wanted one person less who is billable to the client. (I didn't know about the fluidity list at that time. Gave my name because Last year I had talked about going for masters but then changed my mind.) Now I am still in the same project but only in dev offshore team. Manager acts normally too.
Do you think it's about layoff??

Yesterday also 5 people fired from Kolkata

Next it's underperforming hr & rmg. Layoff is very difficult phase for individual & families. I wish it should be stopped now.
