I'm a 2023 graduate who recently joined CG. I got into a few training curriculums, and recently I got into a project for the role of "Technical Support".
I have always aspired to become a software developer. It seems like this role is not going to help build my expertise for the development domain nor will it help my resume for the next opportunities.
What should be the next steps from here onwards?
What are the dos and don'ts for CG?
Should I worry about the org or role i have got as a fresher?
Any opinion/help will be appreciated.
Good role to start the career. Focus on overall development do things other then your regular tasks like understanding the project code structure its components and all. You will surely have good impressions in your resume by following these things.
Be happy atleast you have a project. Many freshers are not even getting support projects.
Give time , continue with support and also keep upskilling if you get any development opportunities in or out just shift .
