Trending @Accenture; Looking for Role Switch
Hi, I am looking for a switch to Data Engineering domain from WebMethods integration Tool and have skills such as SQL, Python, Core Java and Azure Data Services. I'm looking for some guidance. Any help would be must appreciated. Thanks
There are 2 ways :
- If you have good management, tell them your aspirations and ask them if they can help you with getting that role in this project or other projects through their contacts. This may take 6 month to 1 year and won't be spontaneous as they need someone to fill your role before they leave you
- If they are not helping and you feel.you are not getting desired response, look out for that role in internal job portal and prove your worthiness, you will have to fight with your supervisor to get a roll off. You may have to escalate to HR and DU lead if management is not ready to get you roll off
This is the problem I'm facing they are not ready give me roll off
They wont give roll off easily. Keep on raising it to skip level supervisor. I made 2 role switches and believe me they weren't easy. Be determined and keep on raising your concerns (keep your tone formal but to the point when required)
How much total& experience do you have on above mentioned skills?
I have a total experience of 2.9 years and I'm experienced on SQL and Java through my project, I have prior knowledge of Python and got Certified in Azure Cloud and self learned few services including Data Factory, Azure Storage, Databricks and some basics of Synapse
