Looking for referral

My manager interviewed me developer role and after final interview mentioned support role. I had a discussion for role change with manager but forcing to work here for 1year and they will release me. I couldn't cope up with this environment and hating to go to work everyday. Decided to resign. Can I get any referrals. I have overall 3 years experience in IT industry in which 2 years as a Data engineer. I am interested in Data engineer or Data analyst role. Need help here..
