Looking for freelancing advice as someone who is just starting

Hi everyone, I have seen that freelancing, specifically freelance web developer could be a good side income option. I started looking into it and I guess I only know surface level knowledge such as upwork, fiverr, freelance.com.

If some can give me beginner advice I would really really appreciate it.
