Looking for Feedback on Health Insurance Platforms (Ditto, Policybazaar, Direct Purchase)

Hi everyone,

I'm a freelancer based in a Tier-3 city and currently exploring options for health insurance. I’ve shortlisted Ditto, Policybazaar, and direct purchase from insurers.

My concerns & experience:

Ditto: Had a smooth experience so far while exploring and buying. However, I’m unsure about their support after purchase—especially when it comes to cashless claims or claims processing. Has anyone here had experience dealing with Ditto during claims?

Policybazaar: I hear they have an on-ground support team, which seems like an advantage during claim situations. Would love to know how responsive and helpful they are in real scenarios.

Direct purchase: Seems safer for long-term support, but the lack of guidance during selection and claims might be a trade-off.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s had real claim experiences (positive or negative) with these platforms. Especially interested in how well they help when you actually need to use your insurance.

Thanks in advance!
