Trending @Cognizant; Looking for a switch to data science or AI roles

I want to switch badly needed can anyone guide me, I am looking for data science or AI ML roles. I am a bit confused should I switch now or wait for next promotion which might happen after November this year? Share your thoughts please.

You have to go to the pdp pool and get into a ds role opening after the interview, if you get selected you will automatically change to AIA domain. I changed in this way. ( FYI you can AI ML roles are very less, but you can get into data engineering or analyst or data testing roles as well.
