See, there are multiple parts for it.

  1. The project should have a vacancy to accept you. Most of the cases full WFH projects are filled up.

  2. Even in pure wfh projects. If there is an ODC at your location then you are only allowed to take WFH on a case by case basis.

  3. RMG has the allocation power. Even if someone suggests a project here. RMG usually maps you (forced apply) to random projects.

  4. Is the Client contract due for renewal is an imp factor to consider. A couple of folks I know jumped to a project that was WFH. Key word was. Cause a few months after joining in the revised contract clients agreed to resources working from any ODC or Shared ODC as well leading to WFH being outright removed.

  5. If its a WFH project is there Work Life balance or just cause its WFH do they force everyone to work through crazy hours. Its a very very imp question to ask.

  6. Current situation and strength also matters. Due to critical resource drop and inability to replace them alot of clients are dropping or cancelling the contract. So be very wary of that as well.

there are many projects that are providing wfh if they hv work from odc clause and odc is not presnet at location of resources…
now here is catch- few projects ask to work form common odc but few have strict clause so thy give wfh

try for banks or insurance clients
