Long leave query. Please guide..

Is it possible to take long leaves, say 4 to 5 months without pay for the purpose of child care for male employees?(BTW, my child is 4 months old) If yes, can someone guide to whom we need to check(directly with HR) and whether the current project manager approval is needed or not? Also, please share more insights on this topic if you have any. Thanks.
