I've seen many people punch in for their friends access card, what are the setbacks of this if anyone get caught??
How do u even get caught if nobody reports you
Direct violation of compliance policies.
Its not about getting reported ,its completely based on luck.If someone actually checks the records to tally their office presence and swipe in record ,absolutely no body can save ,either of the two from termination.
Its like a corporate sin even god forbids.

There are many ways to track for example you swipe card in office but laptop is connected from different location.
Therr could be other ways too
If caught both will be fired, if doing something like this be very careful. The floor is full of HR and Managers, if anyone will get doubt they will snatch both cards and give to IT people for further action.
It gets tracked by facility team and if get caught, chances are high that it may lead to severe disciplinary action upto termination
