I am currently working for a banking domain project and used to go to Bhubaneswar DC office as to complete mandatory 10days WFO policy. But all of sudden now management asking people to work from nearest ODC which is only in Pune and Bangalore. I have requested my manager to allow me to work from Bhubaneswar dc. But she said it is not possible as client has removed the policy to login from nearest dc and now we have to move to Nearest ODC at earliest possible. Can some please help what to do in this situation and how can i ask for location transfer from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar and how to get project.
Go ahead and swipe in the nearest DC, currently there is no process to track your wfo, unless your manager is a micro manager.
i do swipe in nearest DC only even i asked my manager how come it will like whether i do swipe in ODC or nearest DC she said like no u have to come as per client contract we have to work inside ODC only..

Sometimes clients have their own ODC and management sends email for swipe records. In case your client also expects these swipe records you will have to relocate. Otherwise quietly WFO from your nearest DC.
