Location Transfer

Hi all, My base location is Mumbai but due to my medical issues I need my family. I am released from the project because they cannot provide WFH and I am not in a condition to travel to the base location. I requested my HR for transfer to North region with the explanation of my condition ( previous manager,TL and rmg is in CC) But got the response back " we will not be able to process your transfer as of now ".

Can I go to the nearby office for reporting as I am unallocated.

Will it impact on anything bcz I am going to my base location due to medical issue??
