I am part of the EAIS unit and joined on Dec 2025, with Bangalore as my base location. Due to medical issues, I am unable to continue working from Bangalore and requested a location change to Trivandrum. I discussed this with my manager and HR, and they mentioned that a transfer is not possible since this was a project-based hiring. What options are generally available in such cases? Has anyone faced a similar situation, and how was it handled?
Try to convince your manager. I am sure he can do it. In my case, i was allocated to hyderabad project. My after my marriage, i asked my manager to transfer me to Chennai DC. Earlier he too said, we dont have project code all. Later, he transfered my base location to Chennai and project allocation is only tagged in hyberabad
Can i take transfer if if that location dont have Respective Project ODC ?? Is It possible
