Trending @Accenture; Location change
How can I change my location in Accenture. Currently my base location is Bangalore but I want to move to Kolkata.
Yeah this 2 year policy is shit. They transferred me to Bangalore. And said you can come back in 1 year by raising request. Than in between new policy came in picture where it says, you need to complete 2 year for EIT. Now I still need to wait for 7 more months. It's stressing living so far away in unknown place with no friends, no family, so much of a language barrier. And even after waiting 7 months I don't know if I will be eligible what if I am on bench in next 7 months or maybe my new project doesn't allow that location or what not shit may happen. I really don't get it. My whole team is on different places some in mumbai some in Pune some in gurgaon some in Hyderabad remaining all are onshore. What is the use of coming to office sitting there for no reason when I can double my efficiency at home, instead of travelling back and forth for 2 hrs in traffic. Totally useless.

EIT is totally depends on project. If your project have alternative location Kolkata then you can raise EIT on AST portal. But if not then its not possible. And also as per policy Bench people also not eligible for EIT.
Also depends on Manager for approval.
Ast portal pe raise kijye ho jayega, within 20 days me, lead approvals lagega first then hr
