LLB Vs civil services

I'm a 20 year old newly graduate in political science honours with legal studies in intermediate. I really want to pursue a 3 year llb course but my parents want me to prepare for civil services. Earlier I did give in and I've been preparing since 2nd year but the journey is extremely tedious, isolating and so uncertain. How should I decide what to do? I'm enthusiastic about law profession but I've heard getting a job is tough. I'm ready to do whatever it takes but then again demand for a job is huge huge factor. I don't want to regret anything specially if I decide to pursue LLB after causing a drama at my house.
