Living in a Tier-2 city

Call me an old soul, but I like living in Tier-2 city. It is peaceful. I have experienced living in metro city like Mumbai. I liked everything about Mumbai except it's high cost of living for even tiny apartment and it's humid weather. Initially i liked it but then slowly I was missing the comfort living in my hometown Nagpur Now I'm trying to find a job in my hometown.

Same here man!!!! Mine is Tier-3 in rajasthan, not really much happening in my city, but i like the slow life here. Having home cooked food, and working and gymming. Weekends are more into relaxing throughout the day here. I have also been to bangalore and mumbai, but i like the simple vibes in my hometown

Everyone likes the simple life only. No one wants to do 9-5 job in metro City.

Digressing a little bit here. Although Nagpur is not my hometown, I have find memories of my college days. Thanks for bringing those memories back.

And yes, there is certainly some comfort in tier 2 cities.

What's stopping everyone from working in a Tier 2 or tier 3 city?

I know a lot of companies are hiring for roles with competitive offers that are in sync with Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Why not stay away from metros given the right opportunities? Would love to hear your thoughts.
