I'm planning to shift so really need to know where do we have river water supply. Thanks 😊
All BBMP/BDA approved layouts have water supply, check online for the this list
Central Bangalore will have it.
I stay in Cox Town, we have Kaveri water supply in my apt here, but the owner does both borewell water and kaveri to fill tanks

Only west and central area has Kaveri water. BBMP has not sanctioned fresh pipe supply post 2010. So any society which came up around and after 2011 will NOT have Kaveri water, no matter what the builder says. They’ll tell you we have the pipe ready for bbmp to send water, but that water is a major political issue and source is stressed between TN & KA. There must be a strong reason why bbmp has not established new connections, and seems unlikely to change in future.

West Bangalore - areas like Nagarbhavi, Vijaynagar, Malleswaram.. then some in North Bangalore - Hebbal, Kalyan nagar, Banaswadi, Kasturi Nagar.. look mainly for BDA layouts which have cauvery water supply
