My roommate, hates his mom and dad, he keeps saying, they were never there when I wanted.. never calls them.. But they keep calling him everyday asking "How is he","Food", "Day to day" activities.
I love my parents, I send them money every month so that they can lead a comfortable life. But they never bother to call me even once. Many don't believe, after 12th, I had come alone for my Engineering admission in Bangalore. I love them. Yet they never bother to call me a single day. I call them once in a month.
Life is so unfair.

Why not talk to them then?
Some people don't like to talk on the phone. Or some people are raised in an environment where the parent-child relationship is a bit stricter, where they expect you to call them, and it's not their fault. If they have raised you to be a good kid, you should talk to them instead of playing this "oh I send you money so that you can at least call me to see how I am doing" game.
Brother I work now, sometimes extending my shifts, tired, exhausted. So is it wrong to expect a single call from my parents?
