Life is not same for everyone. As much we work dedicatedly in corporate we are slaves.
TCS is my first company and I have completed 7 years in TCS and I am still in C1 grade. When I joined I was staying in a remote area, also staying in the same location now. Till last 6 months there is no active public transport or communication available here. Hence I was using my hatchback car and spending around 400rs a day for fuel. But now the place is connected with public transportation actively including the ac buses so I am using these buses a spending around 100rs a day. I able to understand that working dedicated to the requirements will make myself a slave of my delivery manager and working dedicated and by saving time in travelling I didn’t able to do much personal growth for me. Out of 7 years I did well in 4 years and received good exposure. In 2 years I was cheated by 2 delivery partners. They both told me that they have works as I am aspiring to do. But there was nothing to work and improve in technical skills other than just some BPO business functional works. A suggestion to them who are reading this article. There is a technology called IFS practice which is somehow good to learn but you will not get any learning help from the opensource like Google, udemy,LinkedIn anywhere. Not sure about other companies but this IFS practice unit in TCS will not help you to learn the technology and they will target your attitude of learning and they will expect you to be a slave of them who need to greet everyday in the morning. The person who lick them may climb the steps.

Yes understood fully about tcs. We all are slave under tcs. But outside how they are projecting… it’s still number one company in India with these all worst behaviour. no one can beat tcs because low cost people will get here only for the customer needs. Spread stop joining in tcs and make tcs headcount will be down that’s only option to do from ourside. am always suggesting people not to join here.
