Life after work sucks

I step into the office, feeling good when a colleague joins, right? But then ughh—everyone's gone. It's like a bad magic trick where I'm the only one left, and honestly those days are a total waste. The silence just makes you feel "You're alone!" And weekends ? They're almost unbearable.

For your free and alone time, have hobbies and learn new things - read a book, learn to play a musical instrument, learn a foreign language, learn a new programming language, learn photography, learn drawing & painting, etc.

Being alone is a physical condition, but how you think about it makes all the difference. Being alone can either mean loneliness, which can cause you sadness or depression, or it can mean peaceful solitude that you can use productively.

Choose the latter. All the best!

Agree that hobbies help to deal with loneliness. Even though I tried some things but lacking consistency is what holding me back I think.. and its being hard to keep up with things with the current emotional instability.

I don't like the gym env instead I prefer exercising.. I do daily 7-10 km walk, stretching and few full body exercises.
