Let’s talk about salary negotiations.
During HR discussions, I often hear things like: "This is a very high amount" or "This is 100% more than your last salary." But here’s the thing — my previous salary shouldn’t define my future worth. My skills, experience, and the value I bring to the table should. Instead of questioning if my expectations are “too high,” a better approach would be: "Does this fit within our budget?" If it does, great! If not, let’s have an open and respectful conversation about what’s feasible. Compensation should reflect the role’s responsibilities and the candidate’s expertise — not just their last drawn paycheck.

Recruiters see us as commodity. Because they have to make profit for themselves.

Yes, exactly

If your salary is less
HR : let's talk in percentage
If its high
HR: let's not talk in percentage
