I wanted to reach out to the marketing folks to get an understanding of how much marketing folks are drawing these days. Any additional information is welcome.
I'll start with someone i know who works at a startup. Yoe: 4 CTC: 18LPA +Esops Background: Engineering from tier 1 private college

Yoe: 9 Salary: 43 fixed + esops Background: BSc at a mediocre college
I did have a privileged background. Considering an MBA to migrate + feel there will be a glass ceiling at some point without it.

What does your job entail? Do you think it's fulfilling?

What's the name of your company? I think very few organisations are paying 30/40+ in marketing roles, mostly marketers I've seen are earning far less. Although I might be completely wrong.

You probably need to do an mba. Folks with mba from a top tier b school are at 30 plus with that yoe.

Total YoE: 9 CTC: 44 LPA I have done a MBA from tier 1 college.
