Guys just curious how much tax you guys paid from your pocket this year don't include whatever monthly gets deducted ,just extra which you paid during ITR filing I will start with mine- paid 77k 🥲

Something similar. On top of that I had to pay rs9000 something as interest for shortage inn advance tax. 😢 This interest component should have been exempted for ITR filers who file within due date

How much do you make now and how did you reach there?
I make somewhere around 33lpa now (touchwood 🐒) mostly being at the right place at the right time there's no denying that offcourse but to reach here I had to first and foremost let go of any personal life I just slog hours be in every meeting possible understand the whole product or usecase or project or integration and become that key point of contact without whom you can't even imagine having a client call with.
Now coming back to an additional factor that helped me was the trauma I got when I thought I would ask out a colleague she just laughed and said no and eventually I got to know that she was making fun of my package and saying why would I even think of dating someone whose earning same as me....soo yeah at first it was that anger too that if people are materialistic let me reach that and see how it feels it feels like nothing more additional responsibilities not gonna.
