Let’s forget China a communist & CCP is a s**t

The way they have developed & gave access to the Shenzhen I always wonder! Why San Jose or down town or any place in California didn’t developed? No homeless, clean park; clean roads, absolutely no crime etc.

Even if you go to SGN, Tokyo etc. why they haven’t developed a specific zone just for tech & innovation.

Now, don’t start saying we have Marathalli 😉

But I think, this caste related politics, freebies, corruption at lower levels, frequent changes of govt. Language issues etc. Kept us slow.

Infact if US didn’t deploy ban on GB200 & GB300 units then China LLM would be 200 times power & a lot cheaper than our beloved OpenAi & Gemini.

The technologies which china lack is; HBM 3e/4 3nm/2nm Advanced Lithography m/c etc.

But we are still finding it hard to get approvals for road improvements in BLR etc. Is it frequent elections are the reason or common people involved in the too much politics?

On the Freebies point, they aren't entirely bad. Many developed countries offer freebies to their citizens. It depends on the implementation. Works well when the intention behind it isn't political gains. I mean even China has freebies schemes

Maybe, 🤔 but giving repetitive freebies makes people lazy?

Developed countries give them after they have stabilised, earned enough, and got their population aged. India simply cannot afford freebies and wasting the peak of its demographic dividend.

Corruption flows top to down, no other way. We lack development due to 2 main reason: corruption and civic sense

WigglyRaccoon

But even in China there is corruption at top level? I think if corruption gets eradicated from mid to lower level then there will be much improvement

It's inverse in India actually. Why do you think people want to become a govt employee? 99% of them want "power" which just means the means of doing corruption and unethical things.

A clerk can screw you up. A clerk has no reason to have his job security. The job security to avoid political influence should only be for select high posts like top IAS/IPS.

One thing; I feel is high accountability & penalty is missing, babu’s making road must be directly penalised for this salary if road is not maintained & his name/face/position must be visible to everyone.

Because MP/MLA can’t be penalised & they always get away with everything but Govt employees cannot.

Exactly. And the company should be blacklisted permanently across India.

Alternatively the MLAs should be trained to do corruption in a better way which incentivises work.
