FYI, there is no connection between IPF and Band. Band is decided by the BU Head and BU HR Head combinedly. For example, for BFSI, the respective leadership may decide that for >4.3 IPF, it will be A, then if you are from BFSI, you will get A. On the contrary, your friend who is from Manufacturing or CPG or LSHC or any BU, may or may not get the same Band. Their respective leaders might have decided to give A Band for >4.5.

Again, there is another scenario that comes into play is your logo performance, if it is not performing well then you may expect a lower Band too.

Hence, many things play a crucial role in deciding the Band.

I think we are missing the concept of Bell curve that is used when giving Bands. IPF is just your performance in your team
