Leopard roaming in Bangalore

Saw this on the group of my society. Is it ethical to have a guard patrolling to catch a leopard?

"We have received an update from Forest Officer that a Leopard had been spotted near Cadenza, Kudlu on 28th October around 3am. The Leopard is since then moving around Kudlu and Parapana Agrahara. Till the time the Leopard is trapped by the forest department and we share further updates, request residents to stay cautious and follow certain safety measures recommended by the Forest department

a)  Avoid late night walks

b)  If walking please carry a torch light.

c)  Have Guard patrolling"
