Led the Team, Got No Promotion – Time to Move On
Been leading frontend dev for 2.5 years (officially? No. But work-wise? Absolutely). Expected a well-earned promotion this cycle, but—surprise, surprise—Accenture did what Accenture does best.
Finally decided it’s time to move on to something better. If anyone can refer me for a frontend or fullstack role, I’d really appreciate it!

But Accenture is one of the best among witch. Try to work for 10 more years u will be noticed

Lmao, hard pass. I actually know a guy who has been there for 17 goddamn years. How he has endured it is beyond be but he is apparently in leadership and joined right out of college

Ha ha lol

This is so true. They’ll roll out IJPs, take rounds of interview and then make you do the job without any benefits at all. I was “acting TL” for 2 years and when I said Im putting my papers is when they nominated me finally for the promotion for which I cleared the interview 2 years ago. For 2 years I was working as a lead for an analyst salary and when you point this out, they’ll act like they’ve done a favour by giving you this opportunity

I get half the salary that other people get at my level. Can’t I point this out to the HR. Isn’t this against labour law or something to pay someone drastically less for the same work

Bro before leaving , just do me a favour and help me into switching to front end . I am a Btech graduate, got trained in SAP for 6 months and on the first day being on bench got locked into a non tech project. It would be very helpful if you can help me out.

Been there done that . Absolutely waste of time to lead the team as an associate /analyst. Just upskill and start thinking about switch .
