Leaving TCS but my boss is saying that he will give me a promotion and hike?
What should I do? I joined as a fresher at 6LPA and now that I have 2YOE. I got an offer from Cognizant for Software Engineer role.
They are offer 13LPA. My boss is saying that he will promote me next year, get me a hike that matches this offer and try for on-site. What should I do?

Your manager can offer maximum single digit percentage of increament, so decide which option you should take. This is the perfect time to switch for high career growth
Switch. They will never promote you in 3 years.
If you have 6 LPA today, then next year maximum 6.60 LPA, next to next year 7.26 LPA and so on, by 2050 your salary will be 12 LPA🤣🤣🤣🤣

Don't fall in trap of TCS managers. Your life will become hell. Your career will be ruined. Your social life will be ruined. Your parents will disown you. Your girlfriend/wife will leave you. TCS is a black hole.
Same don't fall in trap, promotion won't take you till the amount you are getting the offer as well as for visa initiation it takes time also it can be put on hold if any of the issue happens in project.
