Trending @Infosys; leaving Infosys after 50 days of notice period || Need information || Dual employment

I am having a offer from a company. They want me to join by 15-11-2024. And I resigned on 15-9-2024. I asked my manager to release me early. But he gave 40% of the hike which i am getting form other company(that hike is also supposed to be for all engineers of my level and experience , so there is nothing for me). So i continued to ping him to discuss my early release thing with whoever he wants to discuss. And he kept this to be postponing. I sent a mail on around 20 Oct stating "1 November is my last working , Let me know where i can submit the laptop, and kept manager , manager's manager , hr in that mail".

I have to leave infy without serving full np, and he is not helping me out and said "as project is in critical state , they need me" . I can work till the 14-11-2024 , but i know manager would not release me . So i am not continuing.

But i would not work now and will submit the laptop in nearest office. So What are the consequences of this ? Any help is appreciated.

Dual employment idea : In infy we have pf deduction, but my new offer have Fixed + ESOPs , so no pf. I have enough leaves(25+) and wfh balance(12 days per month) . So Is this right if i continue at both places.

Leaving without serving notice can mess up your experience letter. Dual employment is risky, especially with PF deductions. Try negotiating more with your manager or HR.

But what can be the scene, that's what I am asking . How can this get screwed?

Somehow get the date changed to 14.11.2024 in system by begging to HR then you'll be good to go but if you leave like that there would be chances of absconding

Talk to known managers and get suggestions, like there will be a option like buying out the notice period but iam not that sure but there will be a way to get out of it

They are just postponing the things

Don't do this mistake. If your PF deduction is shown in two companies at the same time, you will fail BGV whenever you switch. So what I would say is talk with your new company's HR to extend your joining date. Else directly call on mobile your manager's manager to reduce the notice period.
