Trending @Capgemini; Leaving 3 lakhs to CG
I have recently resigned and today I was calculating the amount of money that I will leave to the company.
Variable Pay for 2025 - 1.8 lakhs Leave encashment - will get close to 70k for 30 days of leave (Ideally it should be 1.4 lakhs but supposedly there has been a govt rule change that only 50% of total compensation will be provided to the employee) Gratuity - 90k for 3 years
Total: 3.4 lakhs
Huhh!!

I know the rule for Gratuity. Except for gratuity, rest things are legitimate, correct? And I am laying down the total amount of money liable for me in general.
I joined the exit orientation call this week and they mentioned the calculation for the leave encashment. In the FAQ, it is mentioned that you will get (Total Base compensation/365 * no of leaves) but there was someone from the fnf team who mentioned the rule has recently changed. The new rule is (50% of TBC/365 * no of leaves OR Total yearly Basic/365 * no of leaves) - So now YOU WILL GET HALF OF WHAT YOU SHOULD GET)

Bro, one of my colleagues resigned in October and he got full encashment, we have not been notified about any new rules, so I am not sure what these people are playing with.
The government rule clearly states they have to pay the full amount, if they do not follow that they can be sued but can't say for sure.

Your calculations are wrong, isn't it.
No company gives you gratuity until 5 years so gratuity is just a number on your offer letter until 5 years are complete.
I don't know where you have seen the new rule regarding the leave encashment, you will get leave encashment for all the 30 days whatever the amount is.
You can check this policy in the Capgemini exit portal documentation. There is no cap on the maximum amount.
No offense, if i am wrong, can you please provide some supporting links or something regarding leave encashment capping?

As per new gratuaty rule, are you getting gratuaty amount since you resigned before 5 yrs??
