Trending @Infosys; Leaves during notice period

Is it allowed to take leave during the notice period? If so, does it lead to an extension of the notice period? Has anyone actually experienced an extension because they took leave?.

I also took leave due to medical reasons but my manager is saying either they extend notice period or will do LOP.
