Leave TCS Or Be ready to get fired
Leave TCS Or Be ready to get fired. Two years in TCS and have seen a lot here. No motivation. No increment, So called employees perks such as holiday homes are for the retired oldies and scam only. Worst environment. Toxic culture. Bad politics. Boot lickers. Worst leadership. Management stealing the QVA. No hike. WFO enforcement without any clues.

Tcs management should be in a position to adapt the latest work culture trending outside, or else the talent will be moved out where there is better flexibility in terms of work culture and other benefits.

Tcs doesn't want talent...

Sometimes I feel like I am handicapped. The kind of work I am doing here. What will happen after some days. Only doing some repeated work again and again. No use of doing some new certification and upgrades. Useless project the assignment without asking you. So it's a total waste of time and peace of mind.
Variable pay is just for the name shake. They will deduct all variables and give us A shit out of all variable pay.

I can understand your frustration but there are 35 to 40% tcsers who are never going to leave tcs no matter what may come... 5% are the leadership, 10% are old timers having earned handsomely via onsite and other means in peak time now enjoying sunset, 10-15% with outdated skills and lazy workers, 10% ppl lateral joined tcs for job security etc and no choice for them now as they have already seen other companies

Enlightening 👍🏼

This is the reason I also resigned now after a long time of 1 year 10 months. Simply getting B bands and low hikes because I am not working for development activities being Tester. Worst management. They don't have any questions to fight with me so finally they come up with Developer work as a defending option. So I decided to move out of TCS

In the next years tcs will be completely outdated and will come to the lower most tier in the indian it companies ecosystem. The status of tcs will change from an it service based company to manpower supply company.
The reason majorly government clients still favours tcs over others is that mostly government have issues with late payment and tcs being such a giant can work with that. Collective revenue of any unit is so huge that late payment in a single project dsnt matter.... But this advantage won't last long as other it companies are also growing as technology, size and revenue.....
When I joined Tcs 8 yrs ago... In my technology tcs was the only player... Other it companies would even dare to venture here just out of the fear that they have to compete with tcs. In the last 3 yrs 80%of the accounts which were earlier with tcs moved to companies like hcl, capgemini, infosys etc.
Tcs never focuses on business development, rather they are interested in maintaining the status quo...
The central leadership has become like a lala who only understands profit /loss equation , absolutely clueless on the sector wise upcoming technology trends(dats why u will not find sector/technology wise categorization of projects)
To become the most saught after partner service company in any sector/technology is never the aim for tcs rather they want to be involved in all and be mediocre in everything.
Way too much internal Beurocracy... Internal processes of tcs very slow(I have worked with govt customers seen their processes, tcs is worse)
The senior management is such, they are not aware of the ground picture and individual account owners are only bothered about their respective units.
Terrible in terms of compensation, .... Low hikes, qva deduction, delayed promotions are reasons why people want to leave tcs. Since there is no concept of building organizational expertise in technology area, there is no effort in retaining skilled professionals. Rather they don't value skill.
Totally mad project allocation process where an employees current technical expertise are not taken into account...5 yrs exp in java development will be put in a support project where he will be resolving tickets for a financial institution. tcs is the biggest pool of unskilled/semi skilled people(not suitable for any other company but tcs)

There are no managerial skills in TCS iON leadership, Project Managers are working on Saturday & Sundays without any extra payouts that too at the client location with no fans, no sitting arrangements, in front of the toilet as well. Worst company to carry forward

Exactly the same thing I am feeling here, also no point of arguing with them, no use of it. Better to find out our own ways. So I did it as well after worse 2 years with TCS, resigned finally and feeling very relaxed now
