Leave restrictions in TCS
I heard from some of my friends that their project manager is restricting leaves that can be availed in a FY citing the billing loss . Why is it not seen in all the projects ? .Even they are adding this in appraisal goals too . Can anyone explain about it ?
If u have leave balance then u can avail those leaves in FY. If the manager does not approve those leaves then the system will approve those leaves after a few days.
Why all idiots are only in tcs, tcs gave you leaves who the hell is manager to not approve leave and why to take permission for leaves, you just have to inform properly if you are taking long leave.
Must be T&M billing. Customer don't pay for leaves in T&M billing but for fixed billing they pay even when you are on leave.
I had experienced this 10 yes back; she even dictated that one should meet Doc on Saturday to avoid billing loss. She wanted to ensure zero billing leakage. But I went ahead after fighting with her on vacation; result band demotion. There are these kind of unique egoistic characters.
Just take leave and it will automatically apply on third of every month if you didn't fill the timesheet.
