I would like to know about the carry over leaves. please explain me on the same

Carry over means the leaves get added to your account (upto a certain limit only) after the FY is over ie they don't get relapsed, Sick and earned leaves are carried forward, casual ones expire at the end of each FY, and you get two flexi holidays in a year that expire on 31st dec.

Can I apply for casual leaves that I have from current FY to apply in the next FY before the lapse date? As in, I want to apply for leave during April 2nd week... But the leaves lapse on March 31st ryt.
