Can we take leave on notice period. If we can, should I save maybe a month's worth of leave for my notice period so it can reduce. I heard we can take our sick leave on notice period but am not confirmed about regular leave. And what about medical exit? Can we reduce our notice period if we exit through medical emergency. Will it escalate as that would be sort of lying. Thanks

For medical exit, it is solely on the manager and HR, and they will ask to submit the medical certificates, which they might validate from their internal medical representative.

Yes, you can try but the chances are bleak of reducing the NP

Only sick leaves are permitted during NP amd not the casual leaves.
Notice period will not reduce with the no. of pending leaves, but casual leaves do get encashed.
So I would suggest to keep your casual leaves and only taking sick leaves during that period
