Leave my job and go back to my hometown to do business?

I'm currently working in a service based company in Pune as a software engineer with 1+ yoe. My current CTC (4.2 LPA) is not much. So lately, I've been thinking about going back to my hometown and handling and expanding my father's business which is in tier-2 city.

Cons of leaving the job:

  • Pune's nice weather, medical, more places to travel, basically all the benefits of living in tier 1 cities.
  • Less freedom at home
  • Would be hard to get a job in IT again as I'm not from tier 1 college

Pros:

  • More time in hand because less household chores
  • Can work on myself and the projects I want.
  • can look after my parents
  • no tension about job security
  • No regrets about never trying my hands in business.
