Leave in notice period

I'm serving my notice period in TCS currently. I have to attend an offline training course with my next employer next month (one week duration) prior to joining their company. I have around 20 sick leaves and 40 earned leaves with me. How can I take one week leave without much complexity?

If you take earned leave then your notice period will be getting extended. If you take sick leave for more than 2days then you have to produce medical documents to HR. Better to attend the training after your last day. This is the trick next employer use to cut down the onboarding time.

I can provide them with a medical certificate from a doctor whom I know personally. Will that help?

But why you want to do the next organisation course while being in TCS? Is the new company paying you for that one week? So better to join that company and in their time you do the course. You will get time to relax One week.
