Leaders being disrespectful in startups

Why do leaders in startups in India casually use abusive language in meetings? Is it okay to be disrespectful and then use an excuse like “we are cool young people building a company and we don’t follow corporate bullshit”? I was in a meeting today and a leader casually addressed another colleague as bnchd.
