Buddy the problem is Oracle pays quite well, so even if they get fired, resources will get enough time to search the job. Its not the case with TCS. Many people stayed here will less salary thinking they will retire here and now suddenly they will be on road

Can you please tell me any specific reason? Actually I have heard in Oracle db teams get less affected by layoff as database is their core product.I am db administrator also and have a planning to drop my cv for Oracle dba opportunities

Worst part is they are not even paying severance package as usual companies do so these kind of chindigiri is also big headache, other companies folks have atleast 6-7 months of gross salary based on number of years with company but here nothing.
