Heard from a friend that bunch of them received HR mails for almost 30-50 people{all grades from C1Y,Y,C1,C2,C3, C4 ~smh got away smh,even one guy was C5} regarding allocation on the bench Then usual discussion straight to the point of resignation or get terminated Even some people have got allocated a day before, but clients are forced to revoke the next day during disccusion HRs even said we won't let you get allocated even if there's a future or nearby allocation is planned irony: few got project calls at the time of HR discussion

No it is not digging their own grave. They are burying those who dug their own grave.
Initially I too believed the same. But as and when it is happening I can see sensibility in how they are doing. This time it is not just random. They are driving out people who deserve it.
One guy under me got released. His name is in the fluidity list. I was feeling terrible for him. He was under me. I did what I could for him. Floated his resume with different managers that I knew. I took the risk. But believe me not a single PMs/DMs touched him. Everyone busy saving their ass.
This guy to be honest was not doing a very good job. He was average. But with high package. Joined 2 years back. Senior guy. Has EMIs to pay.
What is happening is terrible but not entirely wrong.
Had a meetup with rmg today. 10 days in rmg 20 mails 6 calls. She said jo aarha lelo things are not good. Jis jis ko jaante ho sabko boldo jo mile ghus jao. So deadline is not 35 days not 90 days. Jab aapki aani h aajaegi🙏🙏
Deployment policy : Axe on all benched, 3m Gross for resigned with good BGC feedback,3m base for termination with bad BGC feedback.
Fluidity : axe on C3A - C5 with severance.

So no one is sent out without severance? But there was some example in news that the employee was laid off without severance
