
Layoff vs Force resignation
Will force resignation will be counted in these 12k layoff? 90 percent of the cases will be forced resignation if they will not count that thn total will go beyond 50k and they are saying they are reducing globaly do you think outside India thr will be any firing ? It will be India only and in that case its not 2 percent.

To be honest,i also feel it's forced resignation is a different spectrum. I got D band so i resigned. Dekho logically dekhoge, my manager is unsupportive, he talks like he cares but he doesn't. He says to go to pip but 3 months ke baad he will say i wont be able to help.
So at the end i will he forced to resign,so iska alag spectrum chalega,iske baad bench wala ek spectrum hai and then official 12k wala spectrum hoga about project,performance and all. Bench wala spectrum is >35 days.
So numbers will be high ,we dont know as recently implement hua hai, so indirectly I'm a victim too.

Band aagaya kya is sal ka ?

I had some acquaintances in upper mngnt. So he said it will be 10% in next 1-1.5 years going forward. Cons C band ppl will be laid off.

What i understand is if they layoff ppl, they will rehire ex employees as well not today may be down d line somewhere. But they cant have both cards.
They will make ppl to Force Resign - So that they will show that count as Attrition Rate.
Remaining cases, they will show as Layoffs and less Percentage to outside world.

You are bang on.. this is my thought process as well..

Reality is that layoffs are happening through forced resignation. In fact they are telling what to write in the resignation mail and within a minute they are accepting it and in an hour you will be out of office.

No one should resign on own just let them fire you will get more money
