Layoff is good?
Who thinks layoffs can actually make the workplace better?

People without much commitments can rebuild themselves during that period and can use that time to shine better. But in the case who have a huge commitments running in background would definitely focus on climbing back, not much on reshaping them. It only a very less people who use that as a opportunity to build themselves and build this career back. But most try to fit in back at the career and not build it bigger.

I’ve witnessed many layoffs in my career, having worked with several startups. I was even laid off once from one of the largest financial companies due to office politics. But that experience transformed me. It pushed me to grow and ultimately helped me become a better engineer.
Coming back to the topic, I believe layoffs can actually improve workplaces, as productivity and delivery often increase significantly afterward.
